Never Ending Gradient Club

A club of endless possibilities.

A Hand Dyed Gradient Fibre Club with a twist.

The theory behind this club is a simple one, each month I will dye a gradient. The next month I dye another gradient, and the starting colour for that month will be colour I used as the end on the previous month.

So Month 1 might go red-orange-brown

Month 2 might go brown- purple- pink

It gives you the option of saving up club parcels and using them together as one giant project. Of course, that's not to say you have to do that, each gradient will work perfectly well independently, or you can even break it up in to chunks and spin a variegated yarn. It's a club of endless possibilities!

The club is dyed on British BFL.

This fibre comes from British sheep, so minimal air miles, and it's an awesome fibre to use. (There's a great article about how it compares with Merino in the Leicester (Spring 2015) issue of Ply Magazine, in general everyone I know prefers working with it, and I love dyeing it.

BFL is sturdy enough for garments, but it's soft enough for next to skin, so when looking for a fibre for this club it was the natural choice.

This club operates on a rolling subscription like my other clubs. Once you sign up and get a place it's yours until you decide to drop out. Each month a payment is taken automatically from your account on the anniversary of your first payment.

Payments for this club are taken on the 1st of each month, and the fibre is sent out by the end of the same month. For international destinations that might mean you get your fibre at the start of the following month.

FAQ's

Can I have a fibre different to BFL?

Short answer- no.

Long answer, sorry, but no. Organising clubs takes me almost as much time as the dyeing, by offering 1 fibre to everyone I can keep costs down, and minimise my headaches.

Can I combine fibre club parcels with shop orders?

Of course, just like with my other clubs I'm happy to hold on to orders and send everything out together.

What if I need to cancel?

Not a problem, you'll have the option to cancel at anytime, if that month's payment has already been made then you'll get one further parcel.

How do I join?

There is no waiting list. Spaces will become available as current members decide they need to take a break from receiveing club parcels. When I have a batch of available spaces I send out an email to the shop mailing list.
Spaces for this club become available roughly every 6 months, and there are never enough to go round. At this point with a waiting list many people wouldn’t get a space until 2025, so by varying the time I send out an email there at least remains a chance you will get to join in the near future. If I swap to a waiting list then I have to spend more time doing admin work to organise the club, more time doing admin means less time for me to dye.
The club is size limited because of pressures on my time, so a waiting list would actually make it harder to get a place not easier.
If still want to be in a fibre club then the Time Travellers Club is open to new subscribers.
The only place to hear about spaces for this club is via my email newsletter.
